Expectancy fills the air as we approach the Christmas season again…Perhaps there will be special days off from work to share with the family. Then there are all those gifts shared as tokens of love at this time of giving and sharing.

Bringing the most outstanding event in all history—no, actually in all time—to the public through the film, “The Passion of the Christ,” and to a worldwide audience at this time is bound to have a significant impact on the passions of its viewers. Some, no doubt, will be motivated to great heights of compassion and appreciation for Jesus Christ. Others will be pushed to greater stimulation for their already latent anti-Semitism.

January 2004 - The United States in Prophecy

Generally, Bible believing Christians affirm the US as favored by Divine providence. Some in their ardor would like to craft the US into a vehicle of the church or an ideal of God’s Kingdom even though most realize God’s Kingdom will not begin until the Church of Christ is united with her returned Lord. Isaiah 18, a remarkable prophecy, seems to define the US role in the Divine arrangement.
